Beware of EXECUTIVE PROPERTIES and Protect Yourself: Timeshare Rental SCAMS

Schedule your FREE Consultation to CANCEL your Timeshare HERE

Have you ever thought about renting your timeshare? Beware of timeshare rental scam companies that may reach you by phone.

Renting a timeshare is an option that you might consider if you don’t want to use your timeshare weeks anymore.

Owning a timeshare can be a headache! With all the fees you have to pay and the constant phone calls coming from the resort, it becomes almost necessary to think of a solution, especially if your debts are getting deeper.

They say you have to make something good out of something bad, and renting the timeshare could be viable, but wait! It’s not an easy task; people would rather rent a room in a regular hotel or hire the services of a travel agency that rent a timeshare, since it is cheaper and easier.

At MTS, we receive all types of complaints every day, and one of the companies our clients complain about the most is Executive Properties.

Executive Properties: Company Information

Executive properties is a travel management company.

They have an agreement with various timeshare resorts in Puerto Vallarta, and within their services, they offer to sell or rent your timeshare for large amounts of money – enough to cover the maintenance fees.

Their website contains very little information, but they claim to have had celebrities and sports figures as their clients.

According to the information Executive properties provides on their website, they have offices both in the USA and Mexico.

The office in the USA is located in Laredo, Texas, and the office in Mexico is situated in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco.

No reviews are shown on the webpage, which hasn’t been actualized for a year.

Executive Properties: How they get in touch

As most of the timeshare scam companies, Executive Properties have telemarketers who tend to contact timeshare owners who want to rent their properties.

They ask for an upfront fee that is about $900 USD, and they claim to give you the profit obtained for the rental in a 90-day period.

That leads us to the question: how do they know specifically who to call? As it was explained, due to the agreement Executive Properties has with several timeshare resorts, they have access to a database that contains a client portfolio, and that’s how they obtain the potential victims’ information.

Executive Properties – Common Complaints

We will now proceed to expose two of the most common complaints we receive from our clients about Executive Properties.

A man called us a few days ago.

Executive Properties promised him to rent his timeshare in Puerto Vallarta for two weeks, each week, for $989 USD.

After a few negotiations, he agreed to pay an upfront fee of $900 USD.

The 90-day period passed by, and he still didn’t get the money he was promised.

He tried to reach the company, but the phone lines were dead. He hasn’t heard anything else from the company since then.

Another complaint we had was about a resale scam. A woman from California was trying to sell her timeshare without success.

An executive from Executive Properties reached her by phone, telling her that he knew a person who was interested in buying her timeshare for $18,000 USD.

She had her doubts, but she decided to give it a try since the executive told her there was no need to pay an upfront fee.

Two weeks before, she received another call. This time they told her that the transaction was about to be done, but she first needed to send a $1200 escrow.

She agreed to do it, but that was the last time she heard from them.

If you search on the internet, you will find more complaints from people who were scammed by this company.

You might also find information about the company with slightly different names, a tactic they use to cover their actions.

Executive Properties: One more timeshare horror story

Timeshare rental scams are just one more of the numerous timeshare scams that can be done day by day, but timeshare scams occur with more frequency in Mexico.

There are several cases where the victim gets scammed not only once but twice, or even three or more times.

If you own a timeshare you don’t want anymore, you have to nip the problem in the bud, and the most effective way to do that is by canceling the timeshare contract.
